Kindergarten 3 Teacher required from January 2012. The Kindy 3 international class has children aged 5-6 years. They then progress into International primary 2 to keep the ages aligned with other education systems. They school have implemented both the IPC Early years Curriculum and the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum which starts (Yr 1) in K3.
Ideally applicants should have a minimum of 3-4 years teaching experience, preferably at an international school. They should be familiar with the UK National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and/or the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum. Applicants should also be over 27 years of age due to Malaysian employment laws.
This is the premier school in Sarawak. It would be a lovely school to work in. Students are extremely polite with few or no discipline problems / small class sizes/ supportive administration/ UK and IPC Curriculums/ expanding so opportunities for advancement / The Sarawak River snakes through the city and out near the school there's a golf course and leisure club / Sarawak is a fascinating place to live and explore.
