An excellent school in Jakarta, Indonesia is looking for Primary teachers for either an immediate start or a July start. This is one of Jakarta's youngest international schools, offering quality education to primary school students. The school are looking for teachers with a recognised Primary qualification such as a PGCE in primary or a B.ed and a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience. This school can only accept single teachers.

The school offer the IPC/UK curriculum. They would ideally like a teacher with IB experience, but this is not essential. Their full-time faculty members are trained and experienced in the field of international education and they prefer teachers who have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching at an international school.
Applicants must have a recognised teaching qualification for elementary education, excellent leadership skills, good communication and a positive attitude, excellent computing and ICT skills, as each classroom possesses an interactive whiteboard, and the school is progressing towards a paperless community. They also want teachers who are in good health, who are enthusiastic and well motivated, prepared to work hard, confident and self reliant and who have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
Situated in Jakarta the school is a warehouse-convert which consists of state of the art facilities. Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and China are within easy reach. Indonesia itself would take years to properly explore. Although Jakarta is the largest and busiest city in Indonesia, the beautiful Thousand Islands lie in Jakarta Bay – the closest of which is only about 20 minutes away From the city by speedboat. There are about 110 islands divided into tourism islands, conservation islands, historical islands, and islands for community empowerment in accordance with the characteristic differences between each island.
