An excellent Early Years Centre is looking for Early Years in Jakarta and Primary teachers for a July start. They are now moving into a primary school phase and are looking for skilled practitioners to join their friendly, very supportive team.
They are looking for single teachers or teaching couples without dependents and applicants must have qualified teacher status within Primary or Early years (i.e a PGCE, or B.ed) and at least 1 years post qualification experience. For the Early years roles the school can consider teachers with only diplomas. All other teachers also require a degree.
The school offer competitive salaries, with teacher salaries ranging from £1160 - £1420 per month plus accommodation, flights and medical care. The cost of living in Jakarta is low, which means it is possible to save a considerable amount of this salary. Accommodation is provided in new apartments next to the school. There are excellent facilities which include a swimming pool and gym.
Countries such as, Borneo (not technically a country of course), Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and China are within easy reach. Indonesia itself would take years to properly explore. Although Jakarta is the largest and busiest city in Indonesia, the beautiful Thousand Islands lie in Jakarta Bay - the closest of which is only about 20 minutes away From the city by speedboat. There are about 110 islands divided into tourism islands, conservation islands, historical islands, and islands for community empowerment in accordance with the characteristic differences between each island.
