A teacher of Engineering is required from Easter 2011.  This school, which opened in 2009, is in the north of England  and has 1400 students which opened in September 2009.  It is located in Northumberland, about 15 miles from the Newcastle International Airport. The number of students from minority ethnic backgrounds is low and the proportion on track to achieve or exceed challenging targets is high.  Behaviour in the school is excellent as praised by Ofsted in June 2011.  Students demonstrate positive attitudes to learning and feel safe and confident in their aproach. Teaching and learning is strong and rapid progress is made by students.  Leaders have a clear vision for the school.
