Three teachers of Maths are required for a brand new Academy in Kent, starting at the end of February 2012. Initial interviews for these posts will take place in Dublin on the 17th February 2012 and successful candidates from this round will be then invited over to see the school before making a decision on the post (Uteach will cover the cost of this trip).
This Academy opened in September 2009 with the aim of transforming education for the community in Kent. The school is 1hr 35 min from London by train. It is based on two sites with capacity for 2,500 students. Their £54 million building project, started at the beginning of 2011 will provide state of the art learning facilities on both of the two sites. Each site will have a brand new learning environment, each equipped with the most modern technology and taking advantage of the latest computer-based teaching and learning approaches. It is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to develop their career at the start of an educational journey which will transform learning in the area.
